Gemmill Homes became a supporter of Variety in 2007 when it entered the Annual Variety Bash with its' Car 79, to raise as many funds as possible for WA's under-privileged kids. For the past four years, Gemmill Homes' Car 79 was a top ten fundraiser and in 2010 took out the Highest Fundraising honours, raising an amazing $178,703 - the highest amount raised by a single Bash Car throughout Australia. The main form of fundraising was from the annual Gemmill Homes' Car 79 Ball for Variety.
Gemmill Homes has since increased its investment with Variety and is now recognised as a principal partner of Variety WA. Gemmill Homes will soon be commencing construction of its second charity home for Variety, and arrangements for the annual fundraising ball are well underway. This was previously known as the Car 79 Ball for Variety WA, however as Car 79 is no longer participating in the Bash, the event will be known as The Gemmill Homes Ball for Variety WA. The event is still organised by the same dedicated committee so you can be assured that the event will be as good as ever - and 100% of all monies raised will go directly to inspiring hope and improving the lives of West Australian children in need.
Our previous events have been a huge success, with the Ball becoming a highlight on the Perth social calendar. Every year has been a sell-out and has moved to the Burswood Entertainment Complex to cater for the demand for tickets.
We look forward to welcoming past and new guests for another fun-filled night as we celebrate our sixth year.
Of course, this event would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors.
We look forward to your continued support of the Gemmill Homes' Ball for Variety WA, and also in welcoming new supporters on board!
Together, we can all help even more special WA kids to live, laugh and learn.
